The Leimert Park Jazz Festival

What began in 2015 as an intimate annual block party on a residential street in the historic Leimert Park community of South Los Angeles has evolved organically into the Leimert Park Jazz Festival. Now in its 3rd year, the Leimert Park Jazz Festival is growing into a centerpiece of summer programming in Los Angeles, drawing a family friendly audience that is diverse in age, race, ethnicity and socioeconomics. The Leimert Park Jazz Festival provides a platform to showcase and promote local and internationally known music artists, local small minority-owned businesses, visual artists, and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to the wonderful artist lineup this year, guests will enjoy a Visual Arts Pavilion; Community Resources Zone; Wine & Beer Lounge sponsored by McBride Sisters and Crown & Hops; and much more!  Plus, bring the kids to enjoy the Kids Zone with acoustic guitar and ukulele lessons presented by Fender Play Foundation and Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center and art activities presented by L.A. Commons, Greetings from South L.A., Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and Art and Active L.A.
